Vincent "Vinnie" Michael Labor passed away on November 6th, 2013 in Cypress, California. He was born on August 16, 1952 to his loving parents Phillip and Angeline Labor. He grew up in a warm, happy home among his 6 siblings creating eternally strong bonds. Family was the greatest value that was instilled in him and which he bestowed upon his 6 children and their spouses and 10 grandchildren that survive him: Damian & Nikki Scribner, grandson Jaxon; Brent Labor Lovell & Shannon Lovell, grandsons Steven, Samuel, and Jordan and granddaughter, Jasmine; Stephanie & Kary Kozlowski, grandsons Maxim and Lincoln; Angela & Robert Frank, grandson Kaleb and granddaughter Kelsey; Kellie & Roy Lewis, angel granddaughter Ashlynn; Jennie & Jason Dohoney. He had a calming nature that was remarkably helpful in difficult situations. His sense of humor and quick wit were cherished and his laugh was completely contagious. He was a gifted keyboardist and his love of music was what helped him create many of the close friendships that he had in his lifetime. He played in multiple bands over the years, singing and playing alongside some of his deepest confidants. His devoted wife, Maureen Labor, always stayed at his side. They enjoyed travelling together and spent almost every waking moment together; they worked at Gasket Manufacturing together where he held the position, VP of Marketing. With a positive attitude, great generosity, and an unconditional love of his family, Vincent's life and death are an illustration of the man he was. The sorrow in the hearts of his family and friends is tempered by the joy that he is reunited with our creator and his loved ones in heaven, making beautiful music. There will be a private memorial service in Vincent's honor on December 8th in Newport Beach, CA followed by a celebration of his life at his sister, Marta Schaper's home in Artesia.
