Margaret Bleistein Shuey

Margaret Bleistein Shuey LEBANON Margaret Bleistein Shuey of 125 S. Seventh St., Lebanon, died Wednesday, May 23, 2007, in the Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Russell L. Shuey. Born in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Henry W. and Anna M. Arnold Bleistein. She began her working career as an operator for Bell Telephone in Lebanon and retired from Hotel Hershey as a payroll clerk. She was a 1941 graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School. She was a member of St. Mary's Church where she was an active volunteer. She also volunteered at Cedar Haven Nursing Home, Columbia Cottages and with the Girl Scouts. Surviving are three children, Anne Marie Shuey Wells of Cleona, Frances Shuey Love, wife of Roy Love III of Broomall, Pa., and Thomas H. Shuey, husband of Melissa Shuey of Green Castle, Pa.; three grandchildren, Alexandria Love, Bailey Parker and Campbell Parker. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 from St. Mary's Church, 2 N. Eighth St. Interment Grand View Memorial Park. Viewing hours will be Friday evening from 6-8 and Saturday morning 9-9:30 at Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 126 S. Ninth St., Lebanon. Recitation of the rosary Friday evening at 7.
