Harold Long Obituary

Harold Eugene Long, 70, of Walkchalk, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, at his home.

He was born Aug. 18, 1948, in Worthington, to the late Paul Long Sr. and Dolly (Hartman) Long.

He was retired from Glacial Sand & Gravel. Harold was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving in the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his daughters, Rene (Andrew) Ruffner, of Kittanning, and Andrea (Todd) Thomas, of Prospect; grandchildren, Nathan Thomas, Casey Thomas, Tyler Thomas, Alexa Thomas, and Brynley Ruffner; and siblings, Paul (Linda) Long Jr., Fred (Delores) Long, Larry (Crystal) Long, Cathy (Paul) Neupert, Debbie (Barry) Stouffer, and Lori S. Long.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sharon Long; brother, Leonard Long, and sister, Sandra Damore.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, Dec.11, 2018, from 5 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington, with Rev. Jimmy Edwards officiating.
