SFC Ret. Anthony D. Walker January 18, 1967- February 12, 2007 HAGERS TOWN, MD— SFC Ret. Anthony D. Walker, 40, of Hagers Town, MD., formerly of Columbus, died February 12, 2007 at Washington County Hospital. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, February 23, 2007 at Main Post Cemetery, Ft. Benning, GA. with the Rev. Scottie Swinney officiating, according to Sconiers Funeral Home, 836 5th Ave., Columbus. Visitation will be 12 until 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family and cortege will meet at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. SFC Walker was born January 18, 1967 in Columbus, GA., the son of the late Shirley Walker and Elder Nathaniel Neal and MSG Ret. Clifford Golden (Cecelia). Anthony graduated from William Shaw High School Class of 1985. Throughout his 20 year military service, Anthony has traveled the globe from Korea, Washington State, Germany, Maryland, Belgium, China, Russia, Japan, Egypt, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Australia. Anthony was married 20 years to his high school sweetheart, Felicia M. Walker. They are blessed with three wonderful sons, Anthony Jr., Isaiah and Timothy; three sisters, Sheronda Butts (Tony) of Kennesaw, GA., Wendy Golden of Montgomery, AL. and Trina Neal of Atlanta, GA.; two brothers, Darrell Walker (Tundra) of Augusta, GA. and Soulan Golden (Keisha) of Atlanta, GA.; aunts, Patricia Fisher of Chicago, Barbara Miles (John) of Phenix City, AL., Shirley Turner of Columbus, Twanette Golden of Lawrence, GA. and Julia Ford of Phenix City, AL.; uncles, Homer Walker (Muriel) of Phenix City, AL., Henry Golden (Yvonne) of Marrow, GA.; mother in law, Lula Hensley (Joseph) of Columbus; brothers in law; sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
