Born in Savannah, Georgia
After his father passed when David was 2, he moved with his mother and brother to Columbus, Georgia shortly thereafter.
Graduated from Columbus High School â€" Class of 1965.
David was a Veteran and served during the Vietnam war.
David coached his daughter's Peach Little League softball team and coached his grandson Jacob's little league baseball team for years.
He loved to play golf with his friends at the Columbus Country Club. David also enjoyed growing beautiful roses. He also loved to fish and hunt with his grandson, Jacob. He especially loved his Georgia Football.
David was a homebuilder and then retired from MCSD as a school bus driver. He loved his school bus children.
David was a faithful member of St Paul UMC and his Wildwood Sunday School Class. He leaves behind his loving wife of 52 years, two daughters and four grandchildren plus many, many friends.
Services will be held at St Paul UMC in Columbus, GA on Saturday, August 20, 2022 with a visitation for friends and family at 1pm followed by a memorial service at 2pm.
