HOOVER, AL- Steven Shane Hyde, age 26 of Hoover, AL passed away at his residence on May 30, 2011. Shane graduated from Beulah High School with an Advanced Diploma in 2003. He loved hunting, fishing, and playing pool. He also enjoyed playing station with his little brother, Trea. He loved antique and fast cars and was a Dale Earnhardt, Jr. fan. He was also an avid Auburn fan. Shane was known to be polite and a very hard worker on anything he did. He was a customer service manager at Bruno's in Hoover, AL where he lived. Shane was a member of the Cathedral of the Cross Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Roy Hyde & Lydia Hyde; and an uncle John Mark Hyde. He is survived by his parents Susan Hyde of Smiths, AL., and Steve Hyde of Pine Mountain, AL., a sister Shannon Hyde of Birmingham, AL., brothers Chris Hyde of Trussville, AL and Trea Wenck of Beulah, AL., nieces and nephew Victoria, Ava, and Hudson Hyde, all of Trussville, AL., grandparents George and Ann Travis of Beulah, AL., uncle Keith Waller of South Carolina, and his beloved dog Roscoe.
He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, cousins, & friends who loved him dearly.
Mr. Hyde will have a graveside service, Friday, June 3, 2011 at 12 noon CST from the Oak Hill Cemetery in Oneonta, AL.. Visitation will be held Friday, June 3 from 10:30 until 11:30 AM before service time. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at 2:00 PM CST at the Pine Grove United Methodist Church on Highway 29 in Beulah, AL. Lemley Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements

Today is june 28th and still each day goes by, and i think of you as i have always done. except this time i cant try to contact you . or cant try to call your grandma Ann and say hey what is shane up to? cause ur not here. so its so different now . that u arent here. but still not a day that goes by that i donot think of you/ you helped me so much shane when we were younger. and your my first love my high school sweetheart and i will never forget you. you will always be my BOO. and i will forever continue to LOVE YOU MORE . life isn't fair and we may not understand things , but i do kno you are in such a better place. with God singing and dancing with our Lord. Smiling down on all your loved ones. you are everyones angel now. dont forget me. you knew how to light up the room when u would walk in. so light up this world shane. bright it and bright as u can with that beautiful smile. when the wind blows i know it will be u . when its sunny outside. Shane when I lived on pine mtn you and shannon use to come over and i would go to your house i moved and lost contact with you and shannon,i found her yesterday and just learnt about this tragedy I have no clue what happened but I know that your departure has sadened alot of people I cried when I read the page your sister has for you I am sorry to have lost contact with such great people I pray that your family can find peace and that God wraps his arms around them and fills their souls with a sence of peace knowing one day they will be with you again I know your smiling down on your family and friends watching over them and letting them make it each day one at a time.. Im sorry for your families loss and that I dont know what happened when we was once so close. Prayers for you and your family RIP Shane

Well today is is June 17th . this makes it lets see 3 weeks after we have layed you to rest. still hard to believe. last friday. the 10th. The girls and I spent some time with your sister , i just had to for me , for her, for you, for us all. i miss her. i miss you. i wanted to go seee your room where you layed everynight. where you did all your heavy thinking but then i remebered thats where you passed away. so i never asked shannon. this has been so hard. and will get worse before it gets better, but with the help from everyone we all will be okay. Shane. you were a true blessing in our lives. you could make us a smile for no reason at all just by being yourself thats what i miss the most you- your smile. i love you always. thank you shane for continuing to always love me the way you did. i always will love you the same. well today is june 7th a week and day after you passed away. it just passed so quickly. why? why did this happen to you? i know you are so happy dancing and singing wit God right now. and so therfore we all should be happy 2 but we miss you so much. Sat night and Sunday night into Monday morning- that would be a week into your death. i dreamt about you. and it was so intense. like you were still here. like you never went anywhere . i have been so sick missing you so... but i promise you and everyone i will get through this and help your family also. I'm so sorry for your loss. Its still hard to believe that Shane is gone. My prayers are with his family and friends. We all used to be really close in school. He will be missed. I know he is in a better place and smiling down on everyone. I am so saddened to hear about the loss of Shane. My thoughts and prayers are with your family, may god hold you close and help you through this tragic time. Shane was such a sweet sole. I am so glad I had the pleasure of knowing him and becoming friends with someone that had so much life in them. Shane will truly be missed, and a blessing to remember.
