Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Ethel Goins Martin, 97, of Leesville will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2009 in the Pine Grove Baptist Church in Mora with Reverends Ricky Carver, Ed Basco, and Morris Goins officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Mora under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.  Visitation will be held at the Sunny Hill Baptist Church from 6 p.m. on Monday until 11 a.m. on Tuesday, and then from noon until service time Tuesday in the Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Mrs. Martin passed away Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the Natchitoches Community Care Center. She was a native and lifelong resident of the Mora Community and a member of the Sunny Hill Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and devoted wife and mother.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Alonzo Martin; her son and daughter-in-law, Lonnie and Gertrude Martin; two sons-in-law, Artice Martin and Ron Murray; one granddaughter, Gwendolyn Hall; one grandson, Kevin Martin and one grandson-in-law, Wesley Boothe.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James Alton and Sandra Martin of Natchitoches; daughter Juanita Murray of Nacogdoches, TX; daughters and sons-in-law, LaWanda and Raymond Crager of Leesville, and Dorothy and Huey Whatley of Nacogdoches, TX; one sister, Leta Coburn of Mora; 18 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren and 24 great great grandchildren.
