ABRAMO POSTERARO Obituary
Suddenly on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, age 84, of New Sewickley Township, Beaver County, formerly of Bethel Park. Loving husband of Silvana (Aloe) Posteraro for 56 years; loving father of Adrian (Barbara) Posteraro, John J. Posteraro, and Flora Posteraro; cherished Pap Pap of Vinnie Posteraro, Gregory Posteraro and Sean New; also survived by many nephews and nieces. Abramo was born January 14, 1929 in Lago, Italy, a small town in the Province of Cosenza. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1947 to join his father in Pittsburgh. He worked as a Master Tailor for Joseph Horne Co. for 24 years, before establishing Posteraro's Tailoring in Bethel Park in 1971. He retired in 2011 after 40 years in business. He was a lifetime member of St. Valentine's Men's Club and active in several Italian organizations. Family and friends are received Friday 2-4 and 6-8 at PAUL L. HENNEY MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 5570 Library Rd., Bethel Park, PA 15102. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday 10 a.m. at St. Germaine Church, Bethel Park. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park.

I am so sorry to hear about goompadi. He was an amazing man; he always made me smile and told me interesting stories when I was a child. He was a kind and caring man to my parents Guido and Emilia Folino. He will always be in our heart. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

The Posteraro family has our deepest sympathies. I will always remember Mr. Posteraro fondly as a wonderful family friend. We grew up so close to you all and I still laugh when I remember him asking me when I was a child if I "wanted a Hawaiian Punch" with his big smile! Your family has been very good friends to my parents down the road in Bethel Park for so many years. I know that he will be missed. You all are in our prayers at this difficult time.
