Dear Tom, Dan, Rosie & Bill:
So sorry to hear of your loss. Your mom was a very warm, caring, loving and genuine person and she will be missed. I remember my Aunt Jean as one of the kindest and most giving people I have ever met...and that smile! You couldn't help but smile back! Aunt Jean had some hard knocks in life but you would never know it because she always enjoyed the moment and everyone around her. We could all learn from Aunt Jean how to appreciate the simple joys and how to love one another with an open heart. I can hear her hearty 'Vanderheyden' laugh even now and will always remember my Aunt Jean fondly. Condolences to you all.

I went on a camping trip with them one year and have very wonderful memories of my time with her. I will remember her smile and laughter, her kind warm heart. I am greatfuly that I got a chance to know her and spend time with her. I have been blessed to have my time on earth overlap hers. I will miss you Aunt Jean.

My Aunt Jean had a special place in my heart. She was my godmother, my sponsor for confirmation, and she did a reading @ my wedding. She has been a part of my life, all of my life. I loved her dearly.
She had a fantastic sense of humour. She loved to joke & laugh. She had an infectious laugh. She was a people person. She was a great mother, who held her children up with the kindest regard, on the highest pedestal. She took that vocation very seriously. She was caring, giving, loving, & just an all around nice person.
When you met her, there were 2 things that always happened. She would smile when she greeted you, and whom ever was on the receiving end of that smile, always smiled back. She honestly cared about everyone in her life.
For all of these things, and many, many, many more, I will miss her forever. I love you Aunt Jean. Rest in peace.

Dear VanHoek Family.

We all are saddened with the loss of your dear Mother. She won our love and earned
our respect. She was a great and an exemplary person, She did so much and asked so
very little. She struggled intensely but hardly ever complained. She will be missed, yet
She will for always remain with us in some way.
God will give Her in a high place; one that She deserves. And She in turn, will no doubt
speak on our behalf "Up-Yonder"

Please accept our sincere condolences.

"WE LOVE YOU SJAANTJE" !
Brother paul and family.
