Fell asleep in the Lord on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Herasim and late Ksenia Ermakov; the devoted wife of the late Sergius D. Andreychek; the loving mother of Timothy (Kathleen Ann and the late Cathy Lee) Andreychek and Anita (James) Gardner. Nellie was the proud grandmother of Nicholas (Melissa Ann) Andreychek, Melissa Lee Andreychek, and Devin Gardner, and doting great-grandmother of Makayla and Landon Andreychek. Nellie cherished her family and a wide network of friends. She loved her church and was very involved, singing in the choir and helping bake for the holidays. Arrangements are being handled by JEFFERSON MEMORIAL CEMETERY AND FUNERAL HOME, 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15236. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Friday, November 16, 2018. Services will be held at the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary Russian Orthodox Church, 330 Shaw Avenue, McKeesport, PA 15132 at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2018 with Archpriest Father Dimitri D. My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there is a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
