Andrea Phyllis Horton

Our Beloved Andrea went home to be with the Lord on April 3, 2014. Her sister, Donna Gjertsen, brother, Jim Horton, nephews, Gregory, Kevin and Darrick Gjertsen, whom they affectionately nicknamed her "Tant" survives Andrea. Andrea also had 3 grandnieces, Caitlin, Taylor and Gianna and one grandnephew, Nathan whom she loved to pieces. She was recently excited to see them and had her trunk filled with gifts she had planned to give them. Andrea had many close cousins that loved her and will miss her dearly. Carol, Ken and Ronnie shared a lifetime of love, fun, and had an array of memories to cherish. Valerie and Andrea shared a special bond.
After having an exciting career with Delta Airlines she retired and later worked with the Broward County School Board for a brief time.
Andrea loved to travel with her friends to interesting places and go on ski trips when she was working for the airlines. She later took on hobbies such as decorating, collecting different types of picture frames and taking pictures of her cats.
Andrea loved her family and enjoyed it when everyone was together for a barbeque, birthday, holiday or up at the "lake" house enjoying boating and the relaxing lifestyle.
Andrea also enjoyed her neighbors company, especially Billy and Abdul where they would often cook and share dinners with one another.
Andrea will be surely missed by all who loved her.
