To all of Andy's Family.... I send my sincere deepest sympathy for your great loss. Andy was so very special. His smile, kindness and personality were one in a million. I remember the last time I saw Andy was at Broidy's Halloween Party... we were so happy to see each other and catch up on the many years that had gone by. Until we meet again Andy........

Dear Judy and Dan; Connie and Bob; and other family members,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time. Everyone who lived in Rumson knew who was riding his bike all over, and spreading kindness and love along the way. May Andy rest in peace, and may we treasure our memories of this unique person who touched us all.

Sending warm sympathy hugs and love,

Lynn Lincoln MacBeth

Andy was special in so many ways. His kind loving heart, consideration of others, willingness to help and obvious caring of his family and friends are exemplary. I had the good fortune to live next door to the Hoyt family and loved them all...especially Andy! About 1959, Andy and I exchanged small gifts as a token of our friendship. I still have his gift, but more importantly the best gift he could have given me was his friendship. Wherever he is now is a better place for his presence. Love to Connie, Judy and their families. "Hey Andy, want to go for a ride? See you later!"

To Andy's family my brother Tom and I send our prayers. I grew up in Rumson and have fond memories of your brother. He was a positive inspiration in my life.He would always greet me with a smile. I can remember him on his bike with his fireman light as I thought that was so cool. He taught me to be kind to all people as he was. I can't remember when the last time I saw him but I'm sure it was over 20 years ago. I'll never forget it was on the Oceanic bridge as we started to talk he called me by my name. That made me feel good to know he remembered me. Brought back lots of good memories which will keep him in my heart forever. RIP Andy

To the Hoyt Family,
I was a childhood friend of Andy. This picture is the Andy I remember. He was always a happy guy and I have great memories of our friendship. I don't know of the sisters remember me, but I'm sure your Dad will never forget me. I talked Andy into letting me run the skiff one day and I almost ran it to side of the cabin cruiser. Dr. Hoyt was pretty upset but the fact that he didn't throw me overboard. My best to your family and rest in peace my friend.
