Don -- I send to you and your family my deepest sympathy. So appreciated your phone call very much. Can recall your last visit when we had oatcakes and tea - always have those on hand to serve friends who come back for a visit. Anne was a wonderful person and I have fond memories of her from our school days forward.
Take care. God Bless .Myrtle Fleet-Greencorn,Halifax NS Canada

Don,
We are so sorry to hear about Anne's passing.
I have lots of fond memories of working with her
in the Dean's office. We both had birthdays on May 13th
and would have so much fun decorating and planning
our office party. She was very special. God be with you.

From Cape Breton island, Annes birth place, we want to celebrate her life and all the wonderful memories we have of her gentle spirit and encouragement to us. She is the reason we are together, (Sandy and Bibiana) as she suggested his name to be sent to Haiti, where we met 6 years later. She and Don travelled to be in our wedding, they always encouraged us to continue serving Jesus and were close friends to both of us. As she went ahead of us into eternity, we rejoice in her complete healing today. We are sure she is enjoying peace beyond understanding and wish the same for Don, Nancy, Neil, Steve and the rest of the family. We love you! (Sandy and Bibiana Mac Leod)

Don, we send our deepest sympathy to you and your family on the passing of Anne. I am grateful for our visit to Aiken, Minnesota, when we last saw you and Anne. It was good to gather as Erickson cousins. Know that your Aunt Geneva sends her love.

Anne was a Godsend to me when I came to Eastern in the 90's. Her friendliness, laughter, and compassionate faith helped assimilate me into what was a wonderful community at Eastern. To see Don and Anne regularly worshiping together at Church of the Saviour has also been a personal delight and model for our church. Don and family, may God grant sustaining grace amid your loss and ongoing joy for Anne's life well-lived. Love and prayers.

Anne Gray is one of the most lovely, loving, caring, supportive women I've had the privilege of knowing. She could do things and get other people to do things that no one else could.
Dr. Gray, one of the things that your students noticed was that Anne was your priority and every day at noon you were noticed walking your wife, holding her hand and going to have lunch together. You were wonderful role models to all Eastern students for how to have a thriving marriage. Dr. Gray, you have had (and have been) one of the most wonderful gifts in this world, the unconditional, ever joyful love of your beautiful wife. The downside is that her loss is the most painful.
You, one of the best teachers and one of the kindest and most gentle men, are in my prayers. May Holy Spirit give you comfort and peace. With deepest respect
