I became friends with Nina in 1995, and soon after that I met her parents. They always treated me like part of the family, and I lovingly referred to them as Momma and Daddy. Annie was one of the kindest, gentlest souls I have ever met. I know she will be missed by many, as she was so loved by many. I talked to Nina several times a week so I knew of her illness. The last time I saw her she still knew my name, and told me that she loved me. My memories of her, will be kept in my heart always. They took care of me when I had nowhere else to go, and taught me a lot about country living. I was a city girl, and now because of them I know how to snap beans, and shell peas. God Bless you Momma. I will miss you very much. Shelley
