LAKELAND - Antonio Crupi, 86, of Lakeland passed away on Monday, May 12, 2014, at his daughter's home in Lakeland, Florida due to natural causes.
Antonio was born May 7, 1928, in Watertown, New York to Anthony & Maria Crupi and has been a resident of Lakeland for the past 27 years. He was a lifetime member of the Elk Lodge and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Antonio is survived by his son, David Crupi; daughters, Diane Walton & Linda Best; sisters, Jennie Liberatore and Marge Terzini; brother, Pasquale Crupi; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Crupi; brothers, Anthony Crupi, Philip Crupi and Joseph Crupi and sister, Grace Haley.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., Thursday, May 15, 2014, at Lakeland Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 16, 2014, at 8 30 a.m., at St. Anthony Catholic Church, located at 820 Marcum Rd, Lakeland, FL 33809.

I've lived next door to Tony for 17 years. He was always happy and loved to whistle....I enjoyed hearing him. I will miss his smile and cheerful greetings.

I enjoyed playing pool with Tony when I lived at Lakeland Harbor. Really nice guy. My sympathy to his family. Rest In Peace Tony.
