So sorry to hear about the passing of Arnold. I was on vacation and just heard about it today. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family and you go through this time of sorrow. May God bless and keep all of you in His tender care.

To the Edwards Family:
My Father John Moisey formerly of Lac La Biche played baseball (Porky the Catcher) against many members of the Edwards Family re the great games between Amber Valley and L.L. Biche.
Some of my fondest childhood memories(I was 6 to 10 years old) were when the L.L.B. team played at Amber Valley. The Edwards Family always made us feel at home and the meals were the greatest home cooking on earth.
I next met Joey and his brother 2 years ago at the boxing gym. It is hard to believe some 60 years had passed since the days at Amber Valley. The brothers gentleness and friendliness were as i rembered as a boy.
My wife and I are currently out of the Country and can not attend; but we will be there in spirit.
God Bless;
Zen Moisey

In stature he may have been a small man but in the boxing world he was a giant. I am going miss seeing him work a corner or being at a boxing event. I am proud to have known you my friend.

I will miss Jersey Joe. I really enjoyed working with Joe over the many years. His infectious laugh and interesting stories of his life will be sadly missed. Boxing has lost a Gentle Man.
