Having worked with Barbara at Imperial Valley College was truly a blessing! She provided for all of us that worked at the college, her gift of intelligence, organizational abilities, integrity, gracious demeanor and professionalism that was second to none! The assistant she gave me, as organizer of the elementary educators' field trip program, was so very much appreciated. The students from the Valley's elementary schools visiting our campus had an opportunity to view a class one early childhood education preschool program that was a model for the state. I will miss Barbara and her loving friendship and sincerely express my condolences to her entire family. Shirley Jones

Such a sweet lady. I worked with Barbara in El Centro at Pacific Bell Telephone in the late 60's. Then later we attended church together.

She was a very gracious lady, always interested in what one had to say, and very attentive and focused. She was a role model for all women.
