Barry Leon Peterson

Barry's wise and loving words at our HOPE Dementia Support Group made a big difference in my life. He helped to make our journey a little less painful. We will miss him immensely.

Barry was so proud of his Swedish heritage. He put much work into its keeping and with a little aquavit to share. I'll remember his knowledge of nature, the sorrow of Alzheimer's in his life, his jokes with hearty laugh and his authenticity. The church and its ministries was a part of Barry Missed.

I met Barry in our Alzheimer's Support Group. He didn't speak a lot but when he did it meant something. Especially the two simple but powerful words he share with the new group members. It the jokes he personally chose that began each meeting that I will remember with a smile. They ALWAYS made us all laugh, which was the very best way to begin what could be a sad, or stressful share for one of us. Thank you Barry for giving us laughter when we needed it.❤

Barry and I shared a life of joy. He was loved and will be missed by many.
