Barry was a great man. Very dependable. I had the privilege of teaching him our new software at DST so I got to ride with him for a couple days while he learned it. He spoke of his family often. Anytime I'd go on a trip to Colorado we would talk about it and he'd have great tips on places to explore and things to do. He was always keen to do things the right way even if doing it digitally wasn't his go-to. We had hoped that Barry would overcome like he had with Covid and make it back to work. Hearing of his passing sent shockwaves through our staff and customers that he regularly worked with. He was always kind and well liked here.

Barry has always been a great friend since our family moved to Alamosa, Colorado in 1971. He and his siblings and parents are dear friends. I´m so sad he´s gone, I had so much to share with him about Thailand and yet everyday I know he´s with his wonderful parents now. God be with you Barry till we meet again. We will forever cherish the great memories and great times together my brother.

Barry was one of my brother, Andy's, best friends many years ago. We all worked together at Kentucky Fried Chicken in Alamosa. I always felt included in the fun things they did during that time. I have many happy memories. I am sure that Barry and Andy are having a great reunion now

I Met Barry, at a job that we both shared together. From there we talked weekly sometimes daily back and forth talking about the daily grind.
I found myself just the other day wanted to pick up the phone and talk to my friend. I sure will miss him. Until we meet again my friend. Condolences to his family at this time.

I moved to Alamosa in 1965 from Monte Vista. I met Barry in the Alamosa Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints that summer. We attended Evans Intermediate School that fall and became lifetime friends. Along with several other close friends we had many adventures growing up in the San Luis Valley. Barry was a very loyal and caring friend. I love Barry like a brother along with the rest of our circle of friends. We will certainly miss him. I look forward to the time when I know we will meet again.

Barry truly loved my sister, and was the perfect husband for her. He took good care of her, and that's why I'll always love him. Godspeed Barry! Save me a good seat!!

I met Barry for the first time in 1977 in Provo while attending BYU. We've been friends ever since. We cruised in his car together, participated in all kinds of events and did all the things young people do together at college.
His belief in Jesus Christ and his love of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints led him to serve in the organizations of the church his whole life. Always faithful in his duties and callings.
He had a great sense of humor and was a great patriot.
When I moved from Massachusetts back to Provo in 1988 to open a business he was there to encourage me when things were tough.
We moved back to Massachusetts in 1990 and have always been in touch all those years since. He was a true friend.
God bless you Julie and your family.
