Ben Carson Obituary
Born in Oconee County, he was the son of the late W. H. and Hattie Whitehead Carson. He was a member of Farmington United Methodist Church and the CC Camp following WWII. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers; Jim Carson and W.T. ìFoxî Carson.
Survivors include his children: Donald P. Carson, Jeannie C. Ervin, Cheryl C. Thomason and Lynn Carson all of Farmington; sister, Louise Carson Middlebrooks of Atlanta; 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 17, 2006 at 2PM at Farmington United Methodist Church with Revs. Hoyt Johnson and Eric Buffington officiating. Burial will be held at Farmington Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Greg Ervin, Blake Ervin, Brett Ervin, Stephen Ervin, Steve Ervin, Ray Ervin, Chris Holbert, Charles Holbert, Allen Peck and Clay Peck.
Lord & Stephens, WEST is in charge of arrangements.
