Beverley Hall Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Jan. 11 to Jan. 12, 2023.
Beverley A. Hall passed away on January 3, 2023 at Estelle's House hospice. She was 83 years old and a resident of Oak Run in Ocala, FL. She never met a stranger; there were only friends she hadn't met yet. She loved without measure and was welcoming and supportive to all.

Ms. Hall was born in Providence RI, daughter of the late Leo Bolter Hall, Sr. and Beatrice I. (Staples) (Hall) Christiansen. She worked as an Administrative Secretary at Digital Equipment Corp in Stow MA from 1978-1992 before taking early retirement to help care for her parents. She received an Outstanding Achievement Award while at DEC by developing and managing a worldwide online self-help support system called "The Serenity Network" for employees in various 12-step recovery programs.

She went back to work for Samiotes Consultants in Framingham MA from 1996-2004 and considered the Samioteses as friends. After a short spell at Nypro in Clinton MA, she relocated to the Ocala FL area where she created her favorite job, Paws-a-tively Dog Sitting which she enjoyed immensely.

Ms. Hall is survived by her daughter, Linda (Simm) Renne of Angier NC and her husband Gary and her grandchildren, Nathaniel Renne and Sydney Renne & her fiance Hunter Williams, and her daughter Nancy Simm of Simsbury CT and her partner Ernest Lawas, as well as numerous nieces & nephews and their children.

A Celebration of her Life will be held in the upcoming months.

In lieu of flower, donations may be sent The Wilson House, 378 Village St, East Dorset VT 05253 (www.wilsonhouse.org).

Beverley died sober, and made a difference in so many lives. She will be dearly missed...but we know she is overjoyed to be with all her furry friends who passed before her.

Beverly was one of the kindest people I have ever known. While working at DEC, I took advantage of the Serenity Network that she founded. We were great friends outside of that as well. The last time we saw each other was when she was visiting a mutual friend in Florida. I have thought about her a lot over the years and am extremely sad for her family and close friends. Her passing is a loss to all who knew her.

I met Beverly in 2002 . She was happy, smiling and having fun. She taught me how to enjoy my new life and I will be forever grateful for that. You are gone from this life but your loving memory will stay with me forever.
