Bobby Hamilton

Memorial service for Bobby Hamilton will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2009 in the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel. Pastor Johnny Scott will officiate. Bobby Gene Hamilton passed away January 14, 2009 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa at the age of 59.The son of Raymond and Katherine Anderson Hamilton was born October 2, 1949 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As a young boy he attended both Claremore and Chelsea Public Schools. He later joined the United States Army serving until his discharge in 1970. He returned to the Claremore area where he met Deborah Engles. They were married July 11th, 1975. Bobby worked as a machinist in the Tulsa area for most of his career. His hobbies included playing pool, dominoes, cooking and spending time with his family.Survivors include his ex spouse Deborah Engles of Tulsa, children, Deanna Englehardt, Robert Hamilton and Shelia all of Tulsa; brothers, Jimmy Hamilton, and Earl Hamilton of Claremore, and Johnny Hamilton and sister, Kathy Bitting of Bushyhead. Also, grandchildren, Carmen and Calib Simmons, Kieran Adams, Chance Hamilton, Kylie Hamilton, Journey Hamilton, Invy Hamilton, Marquiz Hamilton, and Joseph Hamilton all of Tulsa.
