Brenda DYCK Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Brenda Rose Dyck (Zary) on Monday, December 29, 2014 at the age of 57 years. She was predeceased by her mother Rose Zary; father Jack Zary; infant sister Shantel and father-in-law George Dyck. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Kevin of 37 years; daughter Shantelle (Shaunn Jolly) and their children Ashton, Emma and Wyatt; daughter Tamara Dyck and her son Carter; sister Laurie (Tim) and their children Aaron, Jeff and Nicole; brother Jason Zary; mother-in-law Mary Dyck; sisters-in-law Sharon, Rose (Brent), Debra (Paul), Anita, Vonnie (Brent); as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Brenda was born in Saskatoon but lived most of her life in Regina. In 2012 Brenda retired after 27 years with the Department of Highways to devote more time to her true passion, her home and family, the 'loves' of her life Kevin and their grandchildren Ashton, Emma, Wyatt and her very special Carter. She especially enjoyed her trips to Medicine Hat with Kevin, her annual visit with Shantelle to Our Best To You Craft Sale and any time spent with her much adored grandchildren. Summer was also a special time for Brenda, enjoying her beautiful flower baskets, cheering (very loudly) for her Roughriders and hosting many family BBQ's. Other loves included puzzles, coloring, crosswords, anything by her favourite artist Thomas Kinkade and of course keeping in touch with everyone by telephone. A FUNERAL MASS will be celebrated at Little Flower Roman Catholic Church, 420 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Donations in memory of Brenda may be made to the Regina General Hospital, Cardiac Care Unit, 1440 14th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 0W5. Kevin and family....I am shocked at the passing of a school chum from St. Anne's. Can't tell you how many hours we played "school" in our basements! And the game of "jacks"! Brenda and I then worked together at Miller High School. Her passing is so sad.

There are never words to express the sudden passing of a loved one, Brenda was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
