Brian W. O'ROURKE

O'ROURKE, Brian W., 69, passed away Friday, June 14, 2013 at Bayshore Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Tampa, FL. Born in Schenectady, NY he was the son of the late Walter and Veronica McGeough O'Rourke. Brian served in the National Guard from 1964 until 1970. He later worked for the family business O'Rourke & Sons of Schenectady for several years until moving to the Tampa area over 40 years ago. He was one of the pastors of the Zion Temple Holiness Church in Tampa. Survivors include his sons, Patrick (Stephanie) O'Rourke of Roswell, GA and Matthew O'Rourke of Tampa, FL and his grandsons, Dylan and Zachary. He is also survived by his former wife and friend, Jacklyn Wilson White and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 24, 2013 at the Griswold Funeral Home, 1867 State St., Schenectady. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home 12:00 to 1:00 before the service.
