Dear Linda, Amy, Bryan, Scott, Michael and families:
I am so happy that I got to know your Dad and will always remember his quick smirkey (in a good way) smile. My heart goes out to you as you deal with the death of your Dad so soon after that of your Mom. My prayers are for God's blessing and peace as you comfort each other at this time. Love, Joye

Dear Kennedy Family,
I worked with Bryan at PQC and have fond memories of him, especially when we spoke about our Irish heritage. I introduced him to the Claddaugh ring and I believe he purchased a few for you folks.
I want to offer you my condolences and also thank you for sharing such a wonderful and gentle man with the rest of us.
Fondly,

Dear Kennedys,
I'm so sorry to hear bout Uncle Jack's passing. He and Aunt Suzie (and all of you!) were a big part of my early life. I will always think of him in his flight suit, cooking over an open fire in Algonquin...smoking a pipe.....and Aunt Suzie wearing that bonnet with Mom at Lake Couchiching.....or working the grill, beer in hand, during the famous Memorial Day cookout on Thorn Street.
Here's a couple of my favorite Uncle Jack stories....
After my father passed away, I came to visit the Kennedy home for a weekend. Uncle Jack came to pick me up in Mt. Lebanon and was asked by Mom to talk to me about the "bird and the bees".....I'm not sure who felt more awkward - your dad trying to bring the subject up, or me trying to tell him "don't worry - I'm up to speed". SO, the subject quickly changed to sports or something.....
About 2 years ago, I was paired up with two guys on a golf course at Kiawah Island. One of the two was retired and after some small talk during the 1st couple holes, we determined that heworked with your father at US Steel (Dick Robinson?)...immediately we traded stories. His story was a classic...while in a meeting at work, the phone rang and it was for your father. After a couple "Ok, yes I see's", he got up and nonchalantly announced, "I need to head home. The house is burning down." in the calm manner that your father patented...we had a wonderful time trading stories about him.
He and you mom were my parents best friends and I think of them and all of you as part of our family. I will miss them both and to have had them in our lives was truly a blessing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
