I wore your name on the prisoner of war bracelet that I purchased when I was 12 years old. I prayed every night for your safety and that you would be released. I am now 67 years old, and I still have the bracelet.
I remember the day my dad told me he read in the newspaper that you were released. I was so happy.
Thank you for your service sir. It was an honor to wear your name on my wrist.
