I too like many others read Carli's obituary because of her age . I commend you for sharing her life with others and for that reason I write this note. God truly knew her suffering and as he did on this upcoming Good Friday for his son ,called her home. May her memory give all of you the strength you need just to learn to live with your great loss. You will all be in my prayers this Easter Sunday.

As a former Hegewisch resident and a Mom who has a son struggling with depression AND multiple attempts, he stated it was never a matter of 'if' but 'when'. No matter how much therapy, medications, treatments, staying up late at night, etc. He and I were very open with his depression, and I applaud you all for bringing this terrible illness of depression to the forefront. We cannot, alone, help those who suffer in silence IF we are silent as well. May the Lord bring you comfort during these darkest times! Prayers are with you all!

I can't imagine what it is to loose a child,
But pray that God gives you strength to go on knowing we can never be in a better place than in the arms of our Lord. We will all be there one day. Wish I could have known her. That sweet angel face. My heart is breaking for you.
Love, your cousin in Texas.

My prayers are with the family. It is so painful to hear of this tragedy at such a young age. But the joy in it all is the love and care that she had for others. Let her Legacy live on. God Bless!
