Carmine "Carlo" Mancini

OBITUARY CARMINE "CARLO" MANCINI Born on November 7, 1910 in the Town of Guglionesi, province of Campobasso in the Molise region of Italy took his last breath at 08:47 on September 10, 2010 at the Lakeshore General Hospital surrounded by his family. He immigrated to Canada in February 1928, married Lucia Della Porta in October 1937 and lived happily together for 67 years until her death in July 2004. He leaves a legacy that is evident in the lives of his four children: Gilda, Antonio, Aldo, Gino and his 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild within whom he instilled a strong work ethic, a love for gardening and a sense of generosity and giving back to the community. Throughout his life he was passionate about helping orphaned children in the world. Visitation at: on Sunday September 12, 2010 from 6 to 9 p.m., and on Monday September 13 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Madre dei Chrisitani Church, 7935 Lefebvre St. Corner Thierry in Ville La Salle. Thence to Notre Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery.
