WOBURN — Charles J. Bowden, Sr., died Friday, Nov. 14, 2008.
He was the beloved husband of the late Ann M. (Cole) Bowden; devoted father of Richard C. Bowden and his wife Linda of Bradford, Sharon Ann Bowden of Bradford, Maureen Bowden and her partner Martha Perillo of Methuen, Thomas C. Bowden and his wife Rena of Bradford, Kevin J. Bowden and his wife Cheryl of Lexington, Dawn M. Lynch and her husband Kevin of Haverhill and the late Charles J. Bowden Jr.; dear brother of Robert E. Bowden of South Carolina, Thomas F. Goodwin of Wakefield, Alice Palle of Florida and the late Joe Develler, William Bowden, Evelyn Yearble, Mary Caban and Sarah DiCesare; loving grandfather of ten grandchildren, Cole, Heather, Jennifer, Kellie, Brianna, Thomas J., Krista, Jason, Melissa and Marissa and great granddaughter, Sara Bella. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main St., Woburn on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 9:15 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Barbara's Church, 138 Cambridge Road, Woburn at 10 a.m. Calling hours on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment is private. Donations may be made in Mr. Bowden's memory to the VNA of Middlesex East & Visiting Nurse Hospice, 607 North Ave., Suite 17, Wakefield, MA 01880 or to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St., 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02210..
