Warmest thoughts of comfort to Roberta and family. What wonderful memories we have of Charlie during many political times... they were times I will always remember. Charlie always had such a positive outlook and a touch of humor which made working together so enjoyable. If a time capsule existed of Delta's history I am sure Charlie's name would be included as he contributed much to community. May he rest in peace.

Charlie taught me so much about news and newspapers, but the sad news of his death is something I never wanted to read. I'm so sorry that he's passed. My condolences to Charlie's family and his many friends. I feel immensely grateful to have been one of his journalism students. He made us laugh. He made us think. Each morning of class, we discussed the news. It was a wonderful start to the day. And Charlie made everything interesting, thanks in large part to the colourful way he expressed himself. I wish he was here to call me "an elongated barn goat" or to exclaim: "Holy suffering coyotes!" Those were just two of his classic comments, back in the day. God bless you, Charlie Giordano.

Roberta, I'm so sorry for your loss. Robert always reads the paper from back to front (obits first), and mentioned the name 'Giordano' with a puzzled look. Of course I recognized it right away... and was very shocked to know you've lost your life mate. My prayers are with you... especially as you have to go thru this first Christmas without him.

Meeting Charlie on a personal level many years ago, he always brought many laughs to holiday gatherings. A very kind man, who will be greatly missed.

I remember him very well as my journalism teacher in the 70's. Pretty sure we called him Chuck in those days. Great teacher and great guy. I have thought of him often. So sorry for your loss.

I was one of "Chas's" journalism students from Douglas College in the mid 70's. We thought the world of him. He was a great teacher, mentor, and boss. All this and a wicked sense of humour as well. I will rememeber him with much fondness. -30-
