I thank Charlie for being him, during rough times as I grew up. Charlie treated me as a "son," and a loving father. I truly admired his integrity and honesty, this has also made me a better person. Our life as we know it has lost a great person, but it was greater to know him.

I was saddened to hear of Charlie's passing. I was always amazed at how helpful he could be and what a down to earth guy he was. In memory of a wonderful person.
