Christine Bobo Obituary
Christine A. (Yauger) Bobo, 82, of Akron, passed away May 22, 2018. Christine was born in Ashland City, Tennessee on March 12, 1936 to the late Guy and Lula Galloway. She enjoyed Gilcrest Senior Center and attending Mogodore Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill Bobo; children, Jackie Ruggles and Jerry Yauger; five brothers; one sister and son-in-law, Robert Johnson.
She is survived by her children, Ronald (Kathy) Yauger Jr., Rickie Yauger, Kenny Yauger, Denise (Dale) Barto,
Robin (Larry) Peppeard, and Dorothy Johnson; sisters, Elsie Oshinsky and Ann Garrett; 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to Dr. Goswami, Summa 5 North and Summa Hospice for all their care.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 4 - 6 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, with the funeral service to begin at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Christine's honor to Summa Hospice.
