Chris taught me Greek in the Juniorate at Grand Coteau, and kept in touch with my mother, while she was still living, with warmth and solicitude. I lost contact with him after awhile, but always appreciated his kindness and lively intelligence.

Back in the Bronze Age when I was a new Blue Jay at Jesuit Mr. Billac, SJ was a scholastic who, inter alia, was Moderator of Debate. He taught me the art of advocacy which has served me so well as a Barrister in England. I am grateful for his patience and wisdom and doubly grateful for the chance I had to thank him. Father Billac, Oro Pro Societas Et Pro Tu. Requiescat in Pace, Amicus et Magister!

Fr Billac has such a profound influence on my life- he is such a great example of 'Men for Others'. I have made this my guiding principle in everything I do. I have so many wonderful memories of my education at Strake Jesuit from Fr Billac- his wisdom, his sense of humor and his dedication as an educator. I an truly blessed and will continue to be so, thanks to him.

When Fr. Christopher celebrated mass at Sts. Peter and Paul, I would often serve as his altar server and lector. He was a kind holy man. I was only a boy at the time. He would encourage me to become a Jesuit. I did not, but later as a man I would embrace Ignatian spirituality. Fr. Christopher will always remain in my memory and prayers. Rest in peace Father for a job well done.

Father Billac was one of my favorites at Tampa Jesuit. His classes were informative. His method of teaching was always engaging. His manor and personality always exceptional. Rest peacefully Fr. Billac. You were such a positive influence for so many young men and you will be sorely missed.
