To all the Norkus family my deepest sympathies.
I am saddened to learn about Chris who was my childhood best friend. From 4th grade thru high school we had a friendship that I will cherish forever. Just some of the fond memories...being altar boys together, Cushman motor scooter, Opel Station, watermelon patch, being chased out of a fishing pond by old man Coley, fishing at the lake behind the Angus Barn (he was always a better fisherman), and our summer camping/fishing trip to the Everglades driving in my small 2 seat convertible car packed with all our gear and a case of dinty moore beef stew!.
I always thought of Chris on my birthday in December, being a week before his on Christmas day...and always will.
Thanks for the memories my friend.
My love and sympathy to all the family.

I had the pleasure of working with Chris in forming our local Gavel Club in Southern Pines. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a generous man with his time and effort, and I believe he will be a missed member of the community. Prayers for family and friends during this sad time.

Karen and Conan,

There is no word to comfort the deep sadness you are going through right now however there is a God that will give you the strength you need to live without him.

I worked with Chris at Wildcard Services in Sunrise for several years and his charming personality and great smile was always with him. at any time, always caring for our employees.
He even implemented the Tai Chi classes in the company and everyone liked it.

The last communication I had with Chris was on 10/8 and his concern about the wellbeing of my family during Hurricane Irma. Again always caring about others, that was the Chris Norkus I had the pleasure and privilege to meet.

My deepest condolences.
