Claudia Ballentine

It has been a year now and I still miss my long time friend. I so loved her laugh and her sense of humor. We could start a comic dialog ping pong of funny lines and go on indefinitely. I met her at Sheffield High when she was 13 and remained her friend to the end. I wish I could have heard her sing more, whatttttt a voice she had. Glad I got to spend a good bit of time the last year of her life. Wish it could have been more. I prayed for her and still do. Peace be with you my dear friend. ( Philip Baucom )

Claudia and I were good friends in high school and recently re-discovered each other on Facebook. I am so shocked to see that she has died. What was the cause of death? She was a vibrant, exuberant young girl when I knew her with an unforgettably engaging smile and personality. I only exchanged a couple of Facebook messages with her as an adult, but she still seemed to possess those qualities. I only found out she had died because we were Facebook friends, and I wandered on to her page recently and was shocked to see condolence messages. I will always remember her as we were, two young teenage girls dancing and singing to David Bowie records and plotting our future lives. Hers has ended all too soon. So sad.

My family has known Claudia for many years, going back to high school with
my sister. . A few years ago she and Reese attended my father's 90th
birthday dinner and it seemed so
right to have her there for the past and the present .As always, she was
smart, pretty and witty and had that great laugh.. Just *good* company. We
had expected to know her all our lives, now we will miss her forever.

My friend was sharp, witty, and incredibly talented in everything she pursued. My whole family knew her and loved her spirit. I have missed her so very much these past few days since I heard that Claudia had passed. I will always keep her memory close to my heart.

Our condolences are with the famiiy. She will be missed, she had a sweet personality and am glad I got to meet her. Our prayers are with you.
