Mr. Dale Thaggard Hair

4 1/2 years later I still can't believe that you're gone.. You were such a positive influence on my life and I will NEVER forget you! I know you're up there leading the symphonic band of the pearly gates, hitting all those heavenly notes. Mr. Hair I love you and I know we'll meet again, but until that day I'll always keep you in my heart! Rest on sir, you deserve it!

I only just heard of Dale's passing recently from his cousin, Melinda. My father's family family was from Elizabethtown, NC and that is how my sisters and I met Dale and his brothers. We were kids together during our summer visits. My older sisters were able to somewhat tame and ride Dale's grandfather's horse "Angel". I was a coward....did not ride!

Dale used to brag (rightfully so) that he had perfect pitch. I'm sure that he is singing and playing instruments in heaven in perfect pitch.

My condolences to the family. I recently lost my father, Bill Jessup, who was a childhood friend of Dale's father.....death is always difficult and only memories can sustain us.
