To the Kane family:
I worked with Dan for several years at Alberta Public Works and I cherish my memories of the times spent with him. Dan had that rare ability to create a fun work environment. His daily jokes made it a treat to be there.
A lot of quality work got done in those days and there could be a lot of pressure. Dan was particularly talented at helping to keep a lighter perspective, and memories of his words and antics will keep Dan forever fresh and special in our hearts.

Dear Lorraine, Darren & Family:
I just heard the sad news from my mom, Gloria, today via Mexico.
I feel very blessed to have known Danny...he was such a kind & funny man! I remember Hugh always spoke very highly of him too....he would get me laughing when he talked about their competitive golf games together.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sincerely,
Kelly Turner

To Lorraine and family. I feel your pain and sorrow. Dan was my mentor at PWSS, darts partner, golf buddy, fishing buddy, etc. etc. but most importantly to me, my friend. I will miss him dearly. I cherish the great times we had and the things he taught me. God Bless.
