Maureen, Jim, Keith (Michelle), Arynn, Anne (Kevin), Emily and his wife, Ashley and 3 beautiful children

I can't ever express the pain that I felt when I heard of his passing. I can't even imagine what the loss has been for all of you. It's taken me sometime to even be able to write my condolences. Please know that although things didn't work for us, Not a day passed where I didn't think of him and how he he had changed my life. I'm truly happy knowing that he found the happiness he truly deserved. I pray you can find comfort in knowing he is with his Grandma Ivan. Please know that I will always be here should you ever need anything.

My condolences to Dave's family. Having had Dave work as a summer student for me at Dow, through watching him apprentice and working with him at Shell, I know the world lost a great guy and we are all less for it. Rest in Peace.

Dear Maureen and Jim,
We were shocked and saddened to hear from Katherine of David's death. Please accept our sincere condolences. I cannot imagine , as a mother, what you are going through right now and lift you up, and the rest of the family in my prayers. We remember him as a little boy playing with Annie , Katherine and Elizabeth in the garden, the first friends the girls made after we emigrated to Canada all those years ago. We pray that you find comfort strength and peace in the days, months and years ahead. We are sorry we cannot be at the Dow tomorrow but we are in BC for the summer. You will, however, be in our thoughts and prayers. God bless you. Jan and David Gordon.

Hi David, we had many telephone conversations over the past year and I was really hoping to meet you. It came close when I visited Oil Sands last month but it was not to be. You were always very helpful and I really enjoyed working with you, and I know that if we had met we would have got on very well. I am also a father of 3, and know how much a loss this will be to your wife and children. You died doing something you loved and I hope that is some small comfort to them, in the difficult months and years to come. Phil Corringham (Shell colleague in The Netherlands)
