It was with great sadness that we learned of Dave's passing. We spent many happy moments during our Travelers and Zurich years. I remember particularly Dave's kindness & hospitality during my first few years in Canada - especially the crack-of-dawn golf outings to Cedarhill along with Frank Rudden.

Dear Godin Family,
I was so sorry to hear about your dad..I know this is a trying time for you all. Who knew that the last time I'd see your dad was at My dad's funeral. Our parents have been friends for all our lives...I remember many summers visiting the cottage in Chapeau and the dad's dragging Ann and I to the church in Chapeau for Mass (remember Ann, we coudn't understand a word). These were a special breed of "dads". Cherish your special memories, they will become like gold to you over the years.
