DAVID F.
Age 75, of Scott Township, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, peacefully on Tuesday, October 11, 2016. Son of the late D. Neil and Elizabeth (Fischer) Johnson; beloved husband for 49 years of Linda Bandi Johnson; devoted father of Rebecca Lynn Johnson, Elizabeth M. Campe (James) and Michelle M. Kelly (Brendan); loving grandfather of Ana, Camille and Raquel Campe, Maggie, Alexa and Jack Kelly; son-in-law of Margaret B. and the late Thomas A. Bandi; brother of the late James F. Johnson (Alberta) and the late John F. Johnson (the late Ann Marie); also survived by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Dave was a friend of Bill W. for 37 years. Family plans no viewing. All are welcome to attend his Funeral Mass in St. Bernard Church on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends in St. Bernard School Cafeteria following the Mass. Interment will be private. No flowers, please. Memorials in his name may be made to St. Bernard Church, 311 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15216 or to St. Paul of the Cross Retreat Center, 148 Monastery Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.

Hi Linda
I returned to Pittsburgh from Vail last Thursday, and only heard by email today from Lynn McHale about Dave.
I'm just plain shocked as I had no idea that there was anything wrong.

Although I know he is Dave, he will always be Mr. Johnson to me. As a close friend of his youngest daughter, I have many wonderful memories of his kindness, silliness, and generosity. You will be missed by so many.
