I´m so sorry to learn of Dr. Paulson´s passing. He was my psychiatrist many years ago. I´d never met a more compassionate and insightful doctor. He listened and helped me to crawl out of a dark place. And for that, I´m eternally grateful. May he rest in peace

Dr. Paulson was simply the best doctor. Smart, intuitive, kind. I was very fortunate to know him. I'll always miss him.
Rest in peace.
With gratitude and condolences,

I just this AM learned of the death of Dr. David Paulson and I am heartbroken. I have missed him so much since his retirement. He helped me deal with the loss of my husband 12 years ago and the problems I had with an adopted daughter. His sense of humor and mine seemed to mesh and I really thought of him more as a friend than a therapist but he truly was both.

I have never had the opportunity to know a finer doctor or man than Dr. Paulson. He was always so kind, patient, compassionate and willing to explore the unknown to help me. I have missed him so much since his retirement and I envy the amazing memories that his family and friends are left with. I shall value my thoughts of Dr. Paulson always.

In Greek we say, "Eonia I Mnimi" - Eternal Be His Memory. I know it will be for us; a special, trusted, fun friend with whom we shared countless wonderful times. Not only hilarious and kind, he was perhaps the smartest man we ever knew. The patients he helped here still speak of him - his good works are far-reaching. Our love to Sandra and children.

My condolences to the Paulson family, I was a patient of Dr Paulson for over ten years. He helped me with my depression problems and to adjust to not being able to work because of my pitiful back. He was a very intelligent man and kept surprising me with things he knew. We became more friends than doctor/patient and I have missed our monthly "bull" sessions since he retired. His family should be very proud of him and I am positive that he was proud of them.
