Clyda, my heart goes out to you,Don was a man that everyone liked so well. He always had a smile & hug for everyone. I see Paula sometimes at the little league ballgames. Uncle Jr. was a very loving and giving individual as well as a strick taskmaker when a wrong was done. I don,t remember him all that well as the last I saw or heard from him was when I was little , but I do know that he has given more than most would attempt. He will be missed by all.
I hold him in my thoughts and prayers as well as his family.

clyda...we love you so much...and we hope that you know that...... Yes, we will all miss Don....he was such a wonderful person and i'm glad i was able to personally tell him while he lived.... i will miss his questions about how i was doing in school.....he was the only one besides you to always ask me how i was doing...and now...i will only keep those concerns with me....he made me realize that i could do anything that i wanted in life if i put my mind to it......I don't like the fact that i won't ever get to show him how good of a teacher i will be in the future (God Willing) but i know that b/c he is in heaven, he somehow knows it................ i will also miss making the "hot sauce" that he so dearly loved and i always made it for him with lots of love.......he will be missed so much by me....he was like a father to me...always instructing me in many things......but mostly ....i know that YOU will miss him ...and i just want you to know that we are here to stay and do anything you need us to do.......we love you....carina.

MY UNCLE DON WAS A SPECIAL MAN. I NEVER RECALL SEEING HIM ANGRY OR EVER HEARING OF HIM RAISING HIS VOICE.MY HUSBAND AND I RECIEVED THE BEST ADVICE FROM HIM ON OUR WEDDING DAY AND WE STILL LIVE BY IT. Every time I saw Uncle Don, he greeted me with kind words and an infectious smile. He always made me feel at home in his presence and treated me as one of his own. I will miss the float trips down the La Fourche river and our long talks about life and everything.
Uncle Don will not only be missed by Sis and myself but by Kimber and Jacee also. Just last Sunday Jacee overheard Granny Hall discussing Uncle Don's passing over the phone and Jacee said to Sis "I love Uncle Don." When it was explained to her that Uncle Don was with Jesus she said "I will miss him."
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Clyda, Paula, and the boys.

Don Hall was known only to me as Uncle Jr. Even though I was seldom around, He was always kind and offered advise. He will be in my heart and my memories. I know that right now my memories are from when I was young. Thank you Uncle Jr for being you. You will be deeply missed and I will always regret that my girls never got to know you.
Aunt Clyda and Paula, I am sorry that I was not there but I hear that it was one of the best services every preformed. If you need anything don't hesitate.
