Dear Marion, Emily and Donna, and families,
Just recently I heard of Don's passing. For so many years I have wanted to get in touch with him, and delayed doing so; I so regret that now. Don (although always Mr. Hillis to me!) was a tremendous influence in my life, especially as principal in Superb all eight years I was a student there. Over the years since, I have been aware and have spoken several times to others how much he gave me in my younger life, which has lasted to this day.
I am so sorry that I did not see him once more, and share with you, as much as I can, the deep loss you now experience. Peace be with you, and my gratitude to each of you for your part in his life. I remember each of you from many years ago.
Take care,
Glenn

Dear Marion and family
My prayers and hugs for you all at this time of your loss. I have been so fortunate to have had shared times in Luseland as a neighbor for awhile (back in early 60's).
Just remember that over time the loss lessens and that the memories gain strength and live on in our hearts to be shared with family and those close to you.
May God keep you in His care.

Grandpa,
Not a moment goes by that I haven't thought of you. I miss your smile that lit up a room, and your mischievous laugh that everyone knew. You were always so kind, and gentle, and you always put everyone's needs infront of your own. I am a better person for knowing you but even more important for having the privilege of being able to call you my grandpa.
I love you,
Your grandaughter
Crystal
