Donald McLeod OAM
The Trinity community is deeply saddened by the passing of former Headmaster, Don Marles.
Leading the School from 1979 until 1992, Don was
an ambitious and foresighted
educator, who was integral in establishing the Trinity culture of innovation and excellence.
He oversaw a rapid and significant expansion of the School's facilities,
including the development
of the playing fields at Bulleen and the construction of the Chapel of the Holy Trinity.
During his tenure, co-curricular and student leadership opportunities were developed, and international students were welcomed into the School for the first time. After 13 years of
dedicated service, he retired
in 1992, but his indelible legacy continues to shape the School today.
The School extends its heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends.
