Doris was my cousin and I used to babysit for Francis and Peggy, They were good kids. I visited Doris whenever I came to visit in the summer. She always looked good and I admired her spirit. Whenever I would see a photo of her I'd think, "I hope I look that well when I'm her age". She was 15 years older than me. I'm sorry I didn't get to see her this year. Rita (Gagnon) Hodsdon

Doris,

I am happy for you today! You lived a long good life on this earth, and now you and your husband are living exhilarating lives with new heavenly bodies with crystal clear vision.

Lori and I remember the wonderful years of Bible studies with you and your friend Laverna Bovee at Sunbury Village here in Bangor. Even in declining health you never missed a beat in keeping up with what was going on Spiritually by going online with your computer. We were continually impressed with your insights into the latest Biblical revelations of the day. It was a joy to be in your presence because you never allowed your age or health issues to damper your excitement of what you were learning from your Lord! You loved your family passionately and was so appreciative of how they cared for you as your age increased. A fine family like yours just doesn't happen -- they are nurtured by loving parents in their formative years. You and Alphonse did very well in raising your four children, and now you have a heavenly view of a job well done!

Thank you for the many hours of joy you gave us, and we now rejoice you are being blest beyond human imagination in the presence of your Heavenly Father.
