Dorothy Dunn

Dorothy Dunn, a resident of Vallejo for over 60 years, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 after a short illness. Dorothy was born in Center Mill, AL on May 30, 1927 and moved to the Bay Area in 1958 where she put down roots and started working as a Certified Nurse's Aide. She worked at the Solano County Hospital and John Muir Medical Center. She retired in 1987 after 30 years in the healthcare field. She is survived by three daughters, two grandsons, three great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson as well as two sisters, a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Dunn.Arrangements are entrusted to Alta Vista Funeral Home, 901 Main Street, Suisun City, CA 94585. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 1905 Florida Street, Vallejo. There will be a private homegoing service.
