Douglas CALDWELL Obituary
A resident of Stoney Point, Doug Caldwell passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance - Chatham Campus with his family by his side on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the age of 76. Born in Chatham, Doug was the son of the late Ray and Mary (St. John) Caldwell. Beloved husband of 22 years to Lois (formerly Towe) (nee O'Rourke). Father to Warren Caldwell (predeceased) and Darryl Caldwell. Stepfather to Matthew Towe (Sarah), Shaun Towe (Annette) and Melissa Marino (Tory). Proud grandfather of Daniel Caldwell (predeceased), Alton Caldwell, Paityn Towe and Maverick Marino. Dear brother to David Caldwell (Janet), Mary Anne Heath (Bob), Edward Caldwell (Linda), Janice Ciphery (Doug), Karen Livingston, Debbie McMath (Darrell) and Brenda Zimmer. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. He will be greatly missed by his four-legged companion Jazz. Doug enjoyed cooking, gardening and watching classic movies. Cremation has taken place with a private family service to be held at Maple Leaf Cemetery at a later date. Donation in memory of Doug can be made to Assisted Living of Southwestern Ontario.
