March 29, 1934 - January 27, 2022
Apex, North Carolina - Dudley passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior early in the morning of January 27, 2022. Dudley was born on March 29,1934 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Dudley Moorhous Sr. and Margaret Moorhous.
He was a Colonel in the Air Force and served his country for over 33 years and loved everything patriotic. He was a B-52 pilot in the Strategic Air Command, where he and his crew flew 325 combat missions over Vietnam, more than any other pilot at that time.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased in death by his son, Darin and grandson Josh. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 39 years, Dottie Moorhous, his sons, Alan and Johnny Hill, his daughter Kelly Taylor, six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life service with military honors will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Apex United Methodist Church.
Flowers are welcome, memorial contributions may be donated to Apex United Methodist Church Memorial Garden.
