Such a fun loving lady. I hired her once for a workplace birthday event as the Wild and Crazy Lady. Sang in church choir with her many years ago and then enjoyed her on our European Tours. Please contact Gold Coast Concert Chorus so we can get a family contact.

I think when she played Annie in Annie get your Gun, that was my favorite. I will miss her and all of the Golden girls of Cabrillo music theater. They use to call themselves the out to lunch bunch. Earlie May as we called her was
a good friend to my mother Bunny and our whole family. Irreplaceable! You will be remembered and loved by any one who was ever in your audience.

Earlie May was truly one of a kind - a wild and crazy lady with a heart of gold. Not only was she a talented performer, she was also a kind and thoughtful friend. I will never forget how she would make my Mom, Bunny, laugh when she was ill and feeling down and how much fun they had together with Cabrillo in the shows.
Her positive spirit and her joy of living was an inspiration to everyone who knew her. Heaven just got a little more fun now that she is there.

I remember one of Earli May's last performances with Gold Coast Concert Chorus was "Bird in a Gilded Cage". She sang with such heart and soul. Blessings and love as she wings her way to a higher, bigger stage.

We had so much fun in South Pacific and Oklahoma! which the Cabrillo Music Theatre cast members performed in repertory when the Oxnard Auditorium was brand-new in 1968. Mara Lysova and Larry Parker were the co-directors then. Years later we continued to sing and travel together in the Gold Coast Community Chorus. Your joyful spirit soared on, long after many of your younger contemporaries had slowed down quite a bit. I know you must be singing with the angels now.
