I have so many memories of Edie (and Bob) it's hard to know where to start.

Having known Alan and sharing adjacent back yards since we were both about 1 year old, we did pretty much everything together for many years in our childhood, much of which involved Edie and Bob. Sleepovers with lots of good food a la Edie, getting our ham radio licenses (with lots of chauffeuring by Edie) and making a Heathkit radio with Bob's guidance, ski trips to Mount Snow (remember the time we skidded off the road on the access road), and so much more.

Edie was truly like a second mom to me for many years, always with a big toothy smile and a spring in her step.

Thank you, Edie, for making my childhood years a blessed time. May you and Bob be reunited and May we all give you reasons to be proud and keep smiling and spreading joy. You will be missed.

It was always a pleasure to see Edie at our Brandeis Book Group. I appreciated her warm smile and kind, friendly manner.
May her memory remain as a blessing.

Dear Alan, Robin and Steve,
I'm sorry about the loss of your Mom. I have known her for about 50 years and she has always been a very very nice person to me as her young paperboy and friend of yours and more recently as her eye and hearing doctor.
May your good memories of her last forever.
